Dear Parents/Carers/Friends of the school
For your information the latest Ofsted Report is now available on the school website from the inspection that took place on 11th and 12th November 2009. Unfortunately, this was only released to the school on Tuesday 13th January 2010. The school acknowledges the recommendations for improvement in particular areas of its work outlined in the report. The school is proud of the achievements that it has made in recent years, however, under the new Ofsted Inspection regime, introduced in September 2009 the expectations are now for a faster rate of improvement, particularly for schools like ours that were previously judged as Satisfactory. In the spirit of open consultation, we welcome any constructive comments that any parents, carers or students may have about the report which they feel would help the school to improve further.
